RITS in the Polish IT Community Report

Bulldogjob – Think IT collected over 10,000 surveys to prepare latest Polish IT Community Report. It’s ready in English and Polish language versions and as the report’s Content Partner, RITS Professional Services shared its knowledge about the market.

The main part of the report goes into detail about categories such as: IT salaries, work life, technology, professional development, job changing. What are the most important conclusions? Let’s see:

• 33% of IT professionals are currently interested in changing jobs,
• working time flexibility has become a key element that IT specialists pay attention to,
• unchanged, for 5 years, the amount of earnings is the biggest motivator to change jobs,
• b2b contracts are becoming more and more popular, paid leave on b2b is slowly becoming the norm.

– Each year we observe a consistent decrease in the number of employment contracts in the IT industry – over the last three years by as much as 7 percentage points. In our company, this trend is even stronger. At the moment, the employment contract is preferred mainly by people at the beginning of their career in IT, who are uncertain of their future in a given organization. Other specialists, mainly very experienced ones, no longer feel such a strong need to secure themselves with an employment contract, which in fact guarantees them much lower funds at their disposal. The recent tax changes are also very significant – they have made cooperation in the b2b model much more advantageous than the employment contract.
